Facing Evil’s Underbelly Together

Dear Readers,

Never let it be said that Donald Trump lacks focus. In less than a month, he has managed to terrorize the marginalized, fire essential workers, alienate our NATO allies, withhold food from starving children, surround himself with unqualified wackos, lie with astonishing consistency, cut funding to children’s cancer research, pardon murdering criminals, all the while striving to pad the pockets of his billionaire buddies. As I write this, he’s handing Ukraine over to his buddy Putin.

Not only is he efficient, he is consistent. We all knew this was coming. The people we thought we knew, people we trusted, voted him back into office.

Those of us with our heads screwed on straight are terrified.

Rather than venture into territory already addressed by scholars and activists who are well-versed in apologetics, I offer a simple story of sharing our experience, strength, and hope. We need not be alone.
